BRO. 595-A6), BETWEEN FOURTH AVENUE SOUTH AND I-5. Exit I-5 at SOUTH MICHIGAN STREET / CORSON AVENUE SOUTH, EXIT #162. ( Albro Place, #160, when coming from the south is much longer and circuitous). Alternatively, Go east from East Marginal Way (SR 99) or First Avenue South at South Hudson or Dawson or Brandon or Lucile or Orcas or Mead Streets meander to LHL. Both parking lots on site now are open to both Orcas and Findlay Streets.

  4. · 2005 LEGISLATIVE UPDATE:  Trainee Appraiser Bill (SB5274) and the LLC Excise Tax Filing Disclosure Bill (HB 1315) have received Final Passage by both the House and the Senate, and have been delivered to the Governor for “Action.” Both are under review by the Governor’s Office, but the dates for her to take action are yet to be announced. Statutes give the Governor ( for this year) until Tuesday, May 17. If she has taken no action by then, all bills still pending will become law automatically. IN SEPARATE TELEPHONE and E-MAIL MESSAGES FOR EACH BILL, PLEASE REQUEST THAT SHE SIGN BOTH BILLS: 1-360-902-4111 and at < WWW.GOVERNOR.WA.GOV >.
  5. · 2006 LEGISLATIVE POSSIBILITIES: (a) ACOW is looking forward to discussing with DOL over the interim the amendments which are necessary to the Uniform Regulation of Business and Professions Act, RCW 18.235, in order to increase the effectiveness of its administration of the act following the lack on committee action this session on either HB 1395 or SB 5364; and (b) Amendments to the Mortgage Brokers’ Practices Act which are expected to be proposed by DFI and/or WAMB.
  6. · REAC meeting postponed for budget reasons to July 8, 2005, in Parkland ( South Tacoma), WA,
  7. · DOL Appraisal Program: (a) Drafting of WAC amendments to implement the Trainee Appraiser bill; (b) ListServ Ò , and (c) Disciplinary Matrix finalization and implementation.
